Since its establishment in 2002, Shere Punjab Bhangra (SPB) has revolutionized the Singapore Bhangra scene with its unique style and diversity. A tapestry of colors, formations and races, the ladies and gentlemen of SPB rest firmly at the pinnacle of South East Asian Bhangra.

After winning the Singapore Khalsa Association Bhangra Idol in 2007, SPB sent two teams, each with its own defining style, to the Regional Bhangra Competition in 2008. Coming in just behind India, both SPB teams produced stellar performances to place second and third in the Asia Pacific region, beating teams from Malaysia, Australia and Singapore.
